Goal: We will enhance school district operations by fostering a supportive work environment, upgrading facilities, improving communication and transparency, strengthening parental involvement, and increasing community engagement through active participation and partnerships.

The South Country School District extends its congratulations to members of the Bellport High School girls track team who recently earned All-Long Island and All-New York honors.
The South Country Central School District Board of Education has appointed Kristen Fehr-Thompson as the district’s new humanities director. She replaces Jaclyn O’Hagan, who was promoted to assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and accountability.
The South Country School District extends its congratulations to Caitlin Maragioglio, Bellport High School’s first female wrestler to be named an All-American.
Eight of Bellport High School’s spring varsity sports teams have earned the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete team award.
The South Country Central School District Board of Education organized and prepared for the onset of the 2025-2026 school year during their July 1 reorganization meeting.
