Bellport High School senior Julius Radino was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from NYSCAME/Suffolk. Radino was one of 15 seniors across the county selected for this recognition. His musical achievements include multiple selections for SCMEA, SCMEA Jazz, SCMEA Day of Percussion, NYSCAME and All-State. In his sophomore and junior years of high school, he earned 10 perfect 100s on his performances in the NYSSMA Solo Evaluation Festivals. He will be attending the University of Miami in the fall to major in contemporary drum set performance. The South Country School District congratulates him on his musical accomplishments.
