The spring sports season has wrapped up in the South Country Central School District with a number of high school athletes earning accolades. The district congratulates the following student-athletes:

 

Girls Spring Track and Field

Team: Second-place finish at the Suffolk County 2A Championships

All-League: Briahnna Eason (long jump), Jocelyn Fitzgerald (400-meter hurdles), Jasmyn Jackson (400-meter), Ella Masem (800-meter), Macy Neider (3,000-meter), Rosemarie Okorafor (triple jump), Nevaeh Pedraza (100-meter), Stephanie Rodas (100-meter hurdles), Arielle Ross (200-meter), and Ava Cooley, Shania Creary, Nevaeh Pedraza and Arielle Ross (4x100 relay)

 

Boys Spring Track

All-League: Trey’von Holland (shot put), Raymond Kreamer (200-meter),

Vincent Pitre (800-meter)

All-County: Desmond Escobar (4X400) Raymond Kreamer (100-meter, 200-meter and 4x400), Vincent Pitre (800-meter and 4x400), Kyle Smith (4x400) and John Uyi (4x400)

All-State: Raymond Kreamer (100-meter, 200-meter)

Special Qualifiers: Desmond Escobar (state meet qualifier and qualified for nationals in the SMR relay), Raymond Kreamer (sprint medley relay qualifier for nationals), Vincent Pitre (state meet qualifier and qualified for nationals in the SMR relay) and John Uyi (qualified for nationals in the SMR relay)
