Running to the state meet
Bellport High School’s girls varsity track and field 4x200 meter relay team is headed to the New York State Track and Field Championships on March 6 at the Ocean Breeze track facility following a first-place win in Division 1 at the Section XI State Qualifiers. To earn their spot, Ava Cooley, Shania Creary, Olivia Francis and Arielle Ross crossed the finish line with a time of 1:48.57. The South Country School District congratulates the team and wishes them continued success at the state meet.
