Middle school students celebrate Black History Month
Bellport Middle School students marked Black History Month with a special assembly on Feb. 13 featuring student performances. Through dance, poetry and skits, students shared powerful stories that celebrated the key moments of Black history and culture. The program was spearheaded by social studies teacher Sharaya Williams.
