Literacy Leaders inspire future kindergartners through reading
Brookhaven Elementary School’s third grade Literacy Leaders recently stepped into the role of mentors during a special visit to the South Haven Early Childhood Center, where they read and engaged the younger students in story discussions. The prekindergartners responded with excitement and curiosity. The annual visit aims to build excitement for pre-K students as they head to kindergarten in the fall.
