Learning about fire safety
As part of Fire Prevention Week, Brookhaven Elementary School students participated in fire safety lessons with members of the Brookhaven Fire Department. Students learned about the role of firefighters, the importance of smoke detectors and having an escape route plan. They also got to try their hand at manning a fire hose.
