Kreamer Street second grade students in Aimee Volk’s class recently explored the exciting world of space exploration while learning about an upcoming lunar mission scheduled to launch in March. Working in groups, students analyzed a fact sheet and used a graphic organizer to gather and organize important information. The organizer then served as a planning tool as students transformed their notes into their own news articles. As part of the project, they will step into the role of school news reporters, sharing their knowledge and insights with classmates about the upcoming mission.
