Bellport senior named All-Long Island
Bellport High School senior athlete Nevaeh Pedraza is one of only 23 track and field athletes to be named to Newsday’s 2025 All-Long Island Girls Track and Field team. She was selected for jumping a career-best of 18 feet, 6.5 inches — the second-best mark on Long Island this year. She also broke her school’s 100-meter record set in 1980. An All-League, All-County, All-State and All-Federation athlete, she will be continuing her athletic journey at the College of Staten Island in the fall.
