Bellport High School track star named breakout performer
Bellport High School varsity track runner Olivia Francis has been named a top 10 outdoor track and field breakout performer by Newsday. Francis earned the honor by entering the season with a record of 16.71 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and breaking that record by 2.02 seconds in her final race of the season, earning her the rank of the fourth fastest 100-meter hurdler in Suffolk County and the seventh on Long Island.
