Bellport High School students to graduate with NYS Seals of Biliteracy
The South Country School District is pleased to announce that 67 Bellport High School students have earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy on their diplomas.
The seal recognizes students who have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in English and one or more world languages through coursework, presentations, interviews and assessments in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
As recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy, the students earned recognition in Spanish, French, Italian and Chinese. Their achievement reflects academic excellence, dedication and a commitment to becoming globally minded communicators.
