Mrs. McMahon’s Kindergarten class kicked off the Autumn season with Apple fun!  We became historians learning about John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed. We made applesauce using just apples, cinnamon and water.  Through a shared writing, we wrote the recipe; using connecting words such as First, next, last. The room smelled delicious and we all enjoyed eating the yummy applesauce we made.
