Bellport High School students Michael Umbarila and Tomas Rentas were honored at a recent Board of Education meeting for their outstanding academic achievement. Both students were among the top 2.5 % of all Hispanic / Latino students tested in the PSAT and were recognized by the National Hispanic Recognition Program. The program is an academic honor given by the College Board to outstanding Hispanic High School Students and brought to the attention of colleges and universities across the United States.
