Dr. Joseph Giani, superintendent of the South Country Central School District, was honored for his years of service to the school district and community by Bellport Village Mayor Ray Fell on July 6. Fell presented a proclamation to Dr. Giani, who will retire at the end of July after serving as the district’s superintendent for the past nine years.
