Natural Disasters and Climate Change

NATURAL DISASTERS AND CLIMATE CHANGE Full Year, Alternate day, ½ credit (D435) This course will provide a broad understanding of the forces involved in climate change across our planet, as well how human impact relates to natural disasters. Students will explore and construct models of tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, droughts, wildfires, deforestation, tsunamis, blizzards, earthquakes, extraterrestrial events, floods, avalanches, landslides, pandemics, and epidemics, and investigate their impact on humans, on our planet, and beyond.
