AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE Full Year, 1 credit (D402AP) This course provides students with an understanding and appreciation for the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies of the interrelationships of the natural world. Students will identify and analyze environmental problems and alternative solutions for resolving and/or preventing them will be investigated. The focus of the course is to investigate the scientific principles behind environmental problems and issues. Prerequisite: Successful completion of two years of high school laboratory Science, including at least one year of Life Science and one year of Physical Science. AP Examinations are required in order to receive AP course weighting and AP credit. Please see page 14 for more information.
