The South Country School District is seeking community residents who are interested in sitting on one of the following four (4) Board Advisory Committees:
- Strategic Planning
- Teaching & Learning
- Health & Safety
- Finance & Facilities
- (Subcommittee: Budget Advisory)
The committees will function in an advisory capacity to the Board of Education. Community residents interested in serving on one of the board Advisory Committees should e-mail the Superintendent's office at scioffaletti@southcountry.org no later than August 31, 2016. Committee members will be randomly selected from the pool of interested candidates.
Committee members will serve a one year term commencing annually and ending June 30th of the fiscal year. Each committee will meet in the evening on a quarterly basis with the exception of the Budget Advisory Committee, which will meet more frequently during budget development.
