Live Homework HELP!
Do you need help understanding
a topic in math, science, reading, writing or social
studies? Suffolk County Public Libraries are
offering to students Kindergarten through 12th grade
the opportunity to brush up on their school work,
for free! Simply go to
www.Live-brary.com.
Then, enter your grade, subject and HW topic and you
will be connected with a live tutor. They also have
a writing lab that gives feedback on essays and book
reports. Students taking PSAT/SAT, ACT, AP or other
state standardized tests can also be tutored. Live
academic assistance is available daily from 2 p.m.
to 11 p.m. (excluding holidays).
Connect-Ed
Technology
To enhance communications between school and home,
the South Country School District uses Connect-Ed, a
school-to-parent telephone notification system. The
Connect-Ed system allows the district to reach
parents within minutes, relaying important
information to support both student and school
improvement, and ensuring that parents are well
informed about events that may impact their child's
education.
To further enhance the home
and school communication process, in case a message
was missed and to provide all district residents
with access, the district will begin posting a
transcript of any Connect-Ed messages sent.

updates.
Important Lunch Program Notices
If your child has a food allergy, kindly notify the
school nurse so that the information can be input
into our lunch management system.
If you prepay for lunches, and you do not want your
child to purchase snacks, kindly attach a note with
your check.
School Supplies
To
help you take advantage of "Back-to-School"
sales , we have put together a
list of supplies that teachers on each grade
level would like their students to have in
September. **
Please note that
the items that are in bold have already been
purchased through the generosity of our PTA. You
only need to provide the remaining supplies.**
