Welcome to Brookhaven Elementary! Brookhaven Elementary Computer Lab Brookhaven's Computer Lab is bustling with activity as classes at all grade levels are creating projects as an extension of their writer's workshop.  Across all curriculums, students are using what they have learned in their classrooms to create a variety of different projects.  Maybe your child has brought home a brochure of the events of the "Titanic" or shown you their Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on Pandas.  Forget trading baseball cards! Brookhaven students are creating and trading their very own Polar Animal trading cards.  Using a software program called Pixie®, students have created their own artwork depicting animal habitats and added their voices to slideshow movies!  Brookhaven kindergarteners are also using  Pixie ® to create number and alphabet books.  Students are learning how to open files, insert and resize pictures and then save their work! These are just a few of the fiction and non-fictional projects that are being produced by the wonderful teachers and students at Brookhaven Elementary!! Virtual Backpack The Virtual Backpack will contain all of the notices, flyers, forms, principals’ newsletters and other materials that are sent home with your child from the school's main office at Brookhaven Elementary School!
