Report Time~ No later than 5:30 A.M. on Monday, April 12, 2010
Depart Time~ We plan on leaving from the WEST parking lot no later than 6 AM
Return Time~ We plan to return about 6:30 on Wednesday, April 14, 2010
Luggage Drop Off~ All non-carry on bags must be brought to the school on
Sunday, April 11, 2010 between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The luggage will be sorted at that time and placed in a room that is designated for the student’s bus. This will take place in the English wing of the building adjacent to the west parking lot. The student’s luggage will be inspected to ensure they have not attempted to bring any contraband.

~Frost Valley Trip Package~
The trip package at $250 includes the items listed below:
· Motor coach transportation to and from Frost Valley
· Two nights lodging at Frost Valley YMCA located in Claryville, NY
· All activities that will be occurring during the trip
· One breakfast and snack on the motor coach trip to Frost Valley
v Bagel
v Butter/cream cheese
v Juice
v Snack for trip home
· Two breakfasts, three lunches and two dinners in the Frost Valley dining hall. All
meals are served family style.
· All taxes and gratuities are included
~Financial Considerations~
The basic cost of the trip covers all meals during the trip. If students wish to purchase additional items beyond what is covered the students must pay for the cost of these items. Students will need additional money if they wish to purchase gifts or souvenir items during the trip. There is a Frost Valley store which sells commonly forgotten items as well as some Frost Valley paraphernalia for the students to purchase.

~Packing Suggestions~
Please follow the following suggestions for arranging your belongings for the trip:
· Please do not leave any extra money and/or valuables in your luggage.
· Please be advised that bags placed under the bus will not be available for use until we arrive at Frost Valley. It would be advisable to bring a small book bag that you can put any small items that you will need on the bus.
· Remember no I pods/ MP3/CD players or other electronic devices are allowed at Frost Valley but they are allowed on the buses.
· You may bring a book, notepaper and pencil, a camera and flashlight for the use in Frost Valley
· Each student may wish to bring a pillow and small blanket for use on the bus. There will be quiet times on the bus designated to allow the students to get some rest. Each student may bring ONE large suitcase and bedding to be placed under the bus and one small carry on bag (small book bag). We have limited space in the bus cargo areas.
· If you bring any expensive items along with you it is at your own risk. Chaperones and Bus Drivers WILL NOT be responsible for your belongings.
· Please remember that all items you bring along on this trip are subject to inspection. This will include your suitcase, small carry on bag, handbag, pillow and blanket. Your suitcase must be inspected during the drop off period on Sunday, April 5, 2010 between 2 PM and 4 PM at the Bellport Middle School. All items are subject to inspection at any time.
~Assignments~
Bus Assignments~
Each person has been assigned to a bus. Please do not switch buses at any time. It is very difficult to do bus checks, and maintain data if you are not on your assigned bus. The bus assignments are FINAL, and may not be changed at anytime. Please do not request a change, as these requests will not be considered.
Lodge Assignments~
Each person has been assigned to a lodge. Please do not switch rooms at any time. It is very difficult to do lodge checks, and maintain data if you are not in your assigned lodge. The lodge assignments are final, and may not be changed. Please do not request a change, as these requests will not be considered.
Group & Table Assignments~
Each person has been assigned to a group and a table. Please do not switch groups or tables at any time. It is very difficult to do group or table checks, and maintain data if you are not in your assigned place. These assignments are final, and may not be changed. Please do not request a change, as these requests will not be considered.
~Other Important Reminders~
All lodges must be kept neat and clean at all times. Any staff member on the trip may ask to check your room at any time. Please understand that your room is visited on a daily basis by the Frost Valley staff. It is not their job to clean up a mess that you make.
Any directions given by the Frost Valley staff must be followed the first time given. Any problems relating to this will be reported to Mrs. Sordyl or Mr. Ginty. Those students will be subject to disciplinary actions if needed. Parents may be called if needed to pick up their son or daughter.
