The students in Mrs. Wittmann's kindergarten
class learned how to use the student digital
cameras. These cameras were purchased for
the students through a grant from the South
Country Education Foundation. The
class began their walk around the school
in search of signs of spring. With
cameras in hand, they came upon the
kindergarten hallway which proudly displayed
several bulletin boards showing a variety of
spring crafts. These crafts were made
by all the kindergarten classes. As
their walk progressed to the outside, Mrs.
Wittmann's student photographers were amazed
to see so many signs of spring all around
them. They captured these signs of new
growth by focusing the camera on their
object, tucking in their elbows, holding
their breath and finally snapping the
shutter. We hope
