A Message from the
Principal
On behalf of the faculty and staff, I thank you for visiting our website. Kreamer Street is a K-3 elementary school located in the beautiful Village of Bellport on South Shore of Long Island. Our greatest strength is in our diverse population of approximately 400 students. At Kreamer Street, we believe in educating the “whole” child. We balance a rigorous academic program with age appropriate social activities. We are fortunate to have an active and supportive PTA. They can always be found organizing enriching events and activities to assist us in providing the students with a meaningful educational experience and a strong home-school link. We are a “Reading First” school and our students benefit from a comprehensive scientifically based reading program at all grade levels. Our faculty is nothing short of exemplary and provides quality instruction to our students on a daily basis. In fact, we were recently recognized as a “High Performing/Gap Closing” by the New York State Education Department. Once again, thank you for visiting our school.
