The Nurse’s office
is an important part of the school environment. The nurses work
hand-in-hand with teachers and staff to identify medical,
physical, and emotional problems which could affect a student’s
ability to learn.
A
lot happens in the nurse’s office beyond attending to ill or
injured children. We are
mandated by state law to mai
ntain accurate health records on
every student. These records contain copies of the state
mandated exams. New York State mandates that physical exams are
required for children entering grades K, 2, 4, 7 & 10. If
we do not receive your child's exam by October 30th, we will
have your child seen by our school doctor. Please call
your school nurse if you do not wish you child to have an
in-school exam
Please check out our site
frequently as we will be posting
health
information during the year which will help you and your
child enjoy the benefits of a healthier, more productive
school year!
If you have any questions or
health concerns, feel free to contact me by phone @

Wishing you a healthy, happy
school year!
