Bellport High School has initiated a project in Learning Opportunities Via Experiences.  We
call this our "LOVE" Project.

The design of this program is to offer course credit for community service work.

Additionally, the programs provide an opportunity for students to develop their individual talents or interests outside of the classroom.  

Students will be required to submit an application, available in Mr. Johnson's Office, indicating their purpose, goals and reason for undertaking their "LOVE" projects.  These applications will be reviewed by an administrator who  may suggest modifications before granting approval.

LOVE PROJECTS - Love Projects will usually yield ¼  credit for a half-year or ½  credit for the full year.  Students may not receive more than ½  credit in a given school year.
