Activities
As part of maintaining the high school's web page,
the club regularly incorporates
news releases, and changes the monthly calendar, marquee, club pages, critical
links to the district's site, etc. It also coordinates with the
Guidance Department
which supplies the current Curriculum Handbook and contacts departmental chair people
about departmental web pages. Weekly meetings are between the advisor and
members on a rolling basis through the week due to the nature of webpage
management, but discussions can also include digital art, web design, privacy
rights, and copyright. Club members have some experience in FrontPage,
HTML and Java, some of the programming languages of website development. Members
also can try to experiment with new technologies and software (blogs, wikis,
clouds, DreamWeaver, etc.). For contributions and comments, please contact their
advisor.
Meetings
In the Library during free periods of the members.

Club members run fund-raisers each year that contribute to local charities, go on
field trips to local information technology sites, and try to arrange
computer tutoring to a local senior citizen center in the district.
Pasta with Santa - this is an event that is held at the request of the
community.
