"MEET THE CANDIDATES NIGHT"
The South Country School District PTA Council is sponsoring a "Meet the Candidates" for the South Country Central School District Board of Education  on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.  The event is being held at the Bellport Middle School Auditorium at 7:00 pm and will be moderated by the Suffolk Region PTA.  Please click here for additional information.

A warm welcome to our new incoming and returning families!  It takes the combined efforts of both the home and the school working together, to successfully educate our children. We invite each and every parent to become partners in education and join their school's PTA.

PTA News & Updates
On Monday evening, September 26th, the South Country PTA Council hosted a district-wide “Meet the PTA” event at Bellport Middle School.  The evening began by welcoming guests from the Regional PTA of Suffolk Country who addressed the group of attendees about the role of advocating for educational programs during financially tough times.  PTA Council President Phyllis Virno continued the evening with the theme, “What does the PTA mean to you?”  The evening concluded with an emotional PowerPoint presentation showing the positive effects that the PTA has on the educational & social issues of South Country students.
