Food Services
The South Country
School District offers a breakfast and lunch
program for all students from Pre-K through Grade 12. A
variety of nutritious menus, with fresh fruits and vegetables
and carefully approved snacks, are provided.
The District
strives to incorporate a fun and attractive dining experience
for the students, while at the same time, promoting a healthy
and nutritional
education through Whitson's Food Service.
Our district recently implemented a new
computerized Point-of-Sale System in our cafeterias known as
KidServe in which students enter a PIN onto a Key Pad
as they reach the cash register. Although many students may be
familiar with their unique and confidential PIN from last year,
the number will be provided to each child during homeroom at the
start of the school year.
It is extremely
important that parents report any food allergies to the
school building nurse so that the information can be input
into our lunch management system.
Alongside the
KidServe program, we are
pleased to offer our parents
MealpayPlus, a
program that provides you the convenience and information you
need to manage your student’s meal account online.
