Brookhaven Elementary "Help
for Haiti"
Students and Staff at Brookhaven
Elementary exhibited many of the
Character Counts pillars when they
donated much needed supplies to help
the victims of the Earthquake in
Haiti. Once again,
Brookhaven's tremendous generosity
was evident by the number of
donations we received. The
supplies were then delivered to
County
Legislature Jack Eddington’s office
in Patchogue.....

The Science Fair Arrives at
Brookhaven!
 Brookhaven Elementary School has
been very busy preparing for the up
coming Science Fair which will be
held on April 8th.
To kick off the event, the PTA
hosted
a
science fair workshop at their last PTA meeting.
During this workshop, parents were
shown a number of fun, easy, and
creative ways to participate
in the Science Fair. All the
experiments used everyday household items.
Building on the enthusiasm, "Professor Suarez and
Professor Tortora" spent all
last week visiting classrooms.
They showed
how easy, simple, and fun a science
experiment can really be.

Kindergarten Conferences:
 Brookhaven
Elementary will be holding their Kindergarten
Conferences on February 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th.
We cordially invite you to be part of this process.
It allows us to work closely with you to ensure that
your child continues to flourish. Your child's
teacher will be sending home your scheduled date and
time shortly. We look forward to meeting with
you!

pillars. To acknowledge their hard work,
