*Please make sure your child has their name on their supplies. 
All pencils are shared as a class.

 

Class Rules

1.   Keep your eyes on the person who is talking.
2.   Make sure you are listening carefully.
3. Only one person talks at a time. Always use inside voices.
4.  Raise your hand when you want to speak.
5.   Make sure you walk in the classroom.

 

Behavior Management

1st  time= verbal warning

2nd time= verbal warning

3rd time= name is written on the chalkboard

4th time= one check is put next to your name
                   (lose 5 minutes of recess)

5th time= another check is put next to your name
                   (lose recess for the day and a phone call or letter home)

6th time= principal's office

 

Homework Policy

*Homework is given  to help your child practice what we have learned in class.  Please check your child's homework each night.  Homework must be done in pencil.

1.  Your child will get homework every night.

2.  Spelling homework is given Monday-Thursday.

3.  Math homework is given Monday-Thursday.

4.  Your child must read every night for a minimum of 20 minutes.

5.  Each child can miss one homework assignment a month.  If your child does his/her homework for the whole month or misses one assignment they will be rewarded with a homework pass at the end of the month.  They can use that homework pass towards any future homework assignment. 

6.  If your child misses more than one homework assignment a month they will complete their homework during recess.
